VOM BAUMWOLLGARN BIS ZUM ENDPRODUKT
All Cradle Studio products are produced in Europe and carry the FAIR-COTTON label. This guarantees that the entire processing from cotton yarn to the end product has been carried out by all parties involved in accordance with the international social standards SA8000 and environmental standards ISO14001.
The FAIR-COTTON label stands for respect for people and nature. Based on international standards, companies are given clear guidelines for implementation - this also transparently shows you as consumers what this label exactly means for the value creation process of a product.
According to the SA8000 social standards, companies must take measures to protect the basic human rights of workers. This means safe and healthy workplaces, no forced labour and, above all, no child labour.
According to the ISO14001 environmental standards, companies must strive to minimise their impact on the environment and contribute to improving the quality of life in their community.

All our products are manufactured in the same CO2-neutral production in Europe. The hallmark of this family-run production is high-quality workmanship and materials of the highest quality, made with respect for their employees and our environment.

Unsere Produktion hat die CO2-Fußabdruck-Zertifizierung von Fokus Zukunft, die Klimaschutz langfristig in ein Kerngeschäft integriert. Auf Basis des individuellen CO2-Fußabdrucks wird aus einem breiten Portfolio an international anerkannten Klimaschutzprojekten eines ausgewählt, mit dem durch die Produktion entstandene CO2-Emissionen ausgeglichen werden.
VERPACKUNG & VERSAND
It was very important to us to pay attention not only to environmentally friendly production, but also to environmentally friendly packaging. That's why we use no plastic in our product packaging. For example, our bedding is packaged in practical cotton cases that can either be used as pillow covers or as a storage bag when traveling.
GoGreen or go Home - As part of DHL's environmental protection programme, the greenhouse gases we produce during transport are offset with the help of climate projects. This means that shipping your products is CO2-neutral. The whole thing is packed in innovative grass cartons - a mixture of local forest and meadow grass and recycled paper.
PRODUCT LIFE CYCLE
Our products stand for durability and quality. Of course, we understand that sometimes you still have to part with a product. That is why our vision for the future is the upcycling of our textiles. The textiles should not end up somewhere, but can be sent back to Cradle-Studio and recycled in a meaningful way.
